Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques
If you have an interest in research and would like to work in a laboratory environment, then enroll in MSL40118 Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques. This course will teach you how to carry out experiments, take measurements, use scientific equipment, record results, and present them for critical analysis. You will also learn about Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and safe laboratory practices both in the field and in the laboratory.
You will get an opportunity to work autonomously or as part of a team to perform a variety of tasks such as developing basic formulas and production mixes, how to follow instructions and recipes, and be precise and meticulous when undertaking projects. Laboratory work is undertaken across a range of industries such as food, manufacturing, construction, mining, heavy industry, commodities, education, environmental, scientific, medical, and therapeutic products sectors.
