Diploma of Beauty Therapy
If you love working closely with people and making them feel good about themselves, then SHB50115 Diploma of Beauty Therapy is the course for you. This course will teach you a full range of face and body treatments including facials, make-up, body massage, waxing, lash and brow treatments, aromatherapy, spray tan, and skills in retail and sales operations. You will also learn about reflexology, Indian head massage, and hot stone massage.
You will be trained by industry specialists in the latest dermal cosmeceutical skincare and will learn how to perform microdermabrasion and specialized skin peels. You will have the opportunity to investigate new developments and learn safety protocols for intense pulsed light and laser hair reduction treatments. This course also gives you the theory-based knowledge of IPL and laser hair reduction treatments and when you graduate, you will receive the Laser Safety Officers Certificate required to perform IPL and Laser treatments in a salon or clinic.
