This program provides you with the professional skills and expertise to set you up for success in a range of roles within the hospitality and hotel industry, including managerial positions in food, beverage, accommodation and housekeeping operations, venue management, sales and human resources. A career in hospitality can provide you with opportunities to work around the world in rewarding and exciting customer service environments.

Professional Experience Work Placement
Work placement provides you with opportunities to respond to situations and circumstances that cannot be replicated in a learning or simulated environment. Work placement strengthens your training and supports continued learning and assessment in the workplace. Work placement is a valuable part of your course.
During your course you'll undertake a minimum of 300 hours of mandatory work placement. These hours will be divided over the two years of this Bachelor program (150hrs in each year).
TAFE NSW will arrange your work placement with a suitable industry employer.

PSW Opportunity
Post Study Work Steam Renames to Post Higher Education Work Steam.
- Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
- Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
- Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
- The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants
Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:
- Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
- Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years
- Masters by coursework in extended researched (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 3 years
- PhD students can stay upto 4 years
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Year 12 in one of the following:
- All India Senior School Certificate (CBSE) with an average of 65% OR
- Indian School Certificate (ISC) with an average of 65% OR
- Higher Secondary Certificate (State Boards) with an average of 70% OR
- Certificate of Vocational Education with an average of 70%
IELTS Score
Academic IELTS 6.5 (with no individual band less than 6.0)
Academic PTE with an overall score of 58 and minimum score of 50 in each component
- • TOEFL (iBT) with the following minimum scores: overall 79, Reading 19, listening 20, speaking 20 and writing 20
- • Occupational English Test (OET) with a minimum score of B in each of the 4 components
- • TAFE NSW English for Academic Purposes
- • Completion of Year 12 or equivalent or higher-level studies in one or more of the following countries: UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, or the Republic of Ireland
