Master’s Programme in Mathematical Methods of Modelling and Computer Technologies

The goal of the programme is to educate highly qualified specialists (Masters of Science) who have the ability to carry out research in a variety of current and advanced technology fields comprising mathematics and its applications. These fields include quantum informatics, bioinformatics and molecular medicine, supercomputer clusters, distributed computations, complex networks and statistical systems, molecular machines, thermal-diffusion waves and phase transitions, nanorobots and nanomechanics, topological electronics, and atomic design of materials. The programme reflects the revolutionary changes taking place in modelling methods and supercomputer technology, making graduates highly competitive and allowing them to take positions at leading scientific centres.  The programme is based on the outstanding results obtained at a famous scientific school in applied mathematics and involves first-rate scientists who serve as heads of projects at Institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences and in technology centres in Russia and abroad.
