Chemistry 7-12 Teaching Subject Endorsement, B.S. ED
If you have a passion for chemistry and a drive to introduce it to the next generation of scientific minds, UNK's Chemistry teaching degree is the next step your career journey.
The faculty in both the Department of Chemistry as well as the College of Education believe in the importance of hands-on learning experiences. Whether it's time spent in the laboratory working with state-of-the-art research equipment or in classrooms working with students during early field experiences and student teaching, you'll graduate with the knowledge and experience needed to excel as an educator.
After completing the requirements, program graduates will be fully qualified to teach chemistry in grades 7-12 at middle or high school systems or to pursue an advanced academic degree. Education degrees are a cornerstone of UNK, which has gained a reputation for producing Nebraska's top teachers for more than a century.
