Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology
How does culture shape the ways in which we experience, interpret and explain the complex world(s) we inhabit? What does the study of culture and diversity tell us about what it means to be human? These are just some of the questions you will address as an anthropology major. Through its four-field approach (biological Anthropology, socio-cultural anthropology, Linguistic Anthropology or Archaeology), the UIndy Anthropology program offers a broad training for studying aspects of culture, past and present. Plus, you will choose a specific track (Four-Field and Anthropology of Health) that will allow you to dive deeper into your interests. Whether your goal is to pursue a graduate degree or enter the job market immediately upon graduation, UIndy Anthropology can certainly help you achieve your goals. Become an anthropologist, become an explorer, allow your creativity and critical thinking to take off!
