Post-Baccalaureate Certification: Teacher of Students with Disabilities
Our Post-Baccalaureate Endorsement Teacher of Students with Disabilities program, which is offered by the Special Education Services/Instruction Department is conveniently offered in the part-time, accelerate online format. This undergrade offering can be competed in as few as five semesters.
Please note that the classes in this program don't count toward a master's degree. In accordance with the current State regulations, endorsement as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) is only possible if the candidate already holds, or is eligible for, an initial instructional certification with a corresponding subject area major.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's degree (or its equivalent) in Computer Science or related field from an accredited institution of higher learning
- Official transcripts from all colleges attended (regardless of number of credits earned)
- Current professional resume
- Typewritten statement of professional objectives
- Provide reasons for pursuing the program. Describe how you might use this program to advance your career (educational goals beyond the master's level, if applicable, are also relevant).
- Two letters of recommendation
- Letters of recommendation should be from professional administrators and include information that attests to the applicant's ability to pursue a graduate degree
- Minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
- Submission of official GRE test results is highly recommended
