Master’s Programme in Creative Writing

The programme trains universal specialists and writers in every sphere, including writers of artistic prose and popular science texts, script writers, playwrights and copywriters.

Graduates are trained to work in a number of creative fields, as well as in media, mass media, book publishing, higher and further education, video game development companies, advertising/communication agencies and analytical consulting companies.

The programme combines practical and theoretical training with the study of writing techniques and the history and theory of literature and culture. Teachers are employees of the School of Philology at the Higher School of Economics as well as visiting lecturers, famous writers, publishers and screenwriters.
