PhD in Education (Integrated)
Learn best-practice research methods before you begin an original thesis in the education field. Our integrated program lets graduates without research experience undertake a PhD in Education with confidence.
VU's Integrated PhD in Education program
We’ll give you intensive coaching in ethical research techniques for a year. After passing the coursework and thesis with a 70% average, you’ll begin your own original research, finishing your PhD in the standard four years.
Throughout your study, you’ll have the support of experienced supervisors. You’ll also have access to our specialised research centres, where you’ll work on real projects for industry and government.
We collaborate with local and international organisations, including other universities and research institutes. These networks and experiences are invaluable to your future career.
As well as writing a full-length thesis, you’ll present your findings clearly and effectively, through:
conferences
public presentations for broader audiences
journals
books
other publications.
