Entertainment Design (MA)

The MA Entertainment Design taught in partnership with design practice Kin and numerous entertainment companies based at Tileyard London, provides those aspiring to a career in creative industry design with an unrivalled opportunity to learn, collaborate and connect with more than 1200 music industry practitioners.

The MA Entertainment Design will create highly strategic individuals that will able to apply their skills across many industries from digial branding strategy, design services to music/entertainment.

The Tileyard MA Entertainment Design, taught in partnership with design practice Kin and numerous entertainment companies based at Tileyard London, provides those aspiring to a career in creative industry design with an unrivalled opportunity to learn, collaborate and connect with more than 1200 music industry practitioners.

The MA Entertainment Design will develop highly strategic and practical innovative designers, who are able to apply their skills across digital brand strategies, content creation, and design services to the music and entertainment industries. The programme will provide students with an integrated and critically aware understanding of user-centric design methodology focused on digital, physical, creative strategies, platforms and techniques and an in-depth analysis of key stakeholder organizations in a global context.

While working inside the Tileyard MA Entertainment Design Agency, students can earn an income and build their client networks designing to live creative briefs year-round. This industry-centric course also includes regular music networking events, a master class series on real-world case studies, work-based learning opportunities, a 1-2-1 industry mentoring program, and access to the annual calendar of events held at Tileyard London.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Academic Qualifications

A minimum of a 2:2 UK first degree or an equivalent international qualification recognised by UK NARIC
English Qualifications

An overall English Language level equivalent to an IELTS score of 6.0 (or equivalent) with no lower than 5.5 in reading writing, listening and speaking
or

Successfully completed within the last two years a recognised undergraduate or postgraduate qualification at a recognised institution that has been certified as being taught in the medium of English (certificates, transcripts and/or other documents stating language of delivery and assessment may be required by the University prior to an offer being made).
