Tourism Management (BA,)
This highly respected tourism programme provides students with professional industry skills and academic knowledge to help them secure a successful career within the Tourism Industry.
The programme has been developed through close consultation with tourism industry leaders, students and graduates in order to meet the needs of industry and the aspirations of students.
A strong focus on management and marketing is introduced from the start of the programme. Industry issues are critically considered to enable students to develop their learning with regard to social media, international travel operations, ethics, culture & sustainable tourism.
The cutting edge programme focuses on guest service excellence from the outset and students are encouraged to challenge industry conceptions and consider strategic management issues from both an academic and applied stance in preparation for a management career.
Students and graduates have the opportunity to apply for an excellent range of inspirational and challenging global placement opportunities. Placements are integrated within level 4 and 5 in order to enable students to develop their professional and operational skills development as well as their management understanding and academic knowledge.
Innovative and creative learning environments ensure that the programme brings the student’s learning alive. By making the World our Lecture Theatre students are able to experience behind the scenes at tourism facilities and destinations in the UK and internationally as well as engaging in networking events with industry leaders.

Swansea Campuses
Our Swansea campuses have a reputation for innovative industry-led and career-driven programmes. Founded in 1853, the Swansea campus is spread across a number of dedicated centres – all within easy reach of the city centre. Each subject area has its own facilities with access to specialist equipment, learning resources, workshops and IT suites. Our new SA1 Swansea Waterfront development offers an exciting new location by the sea.

An overall average of 70% or above in Indian Standard XII
English Qualifications
An overall English Language level equivalent to an IELTS score of 6.0 (or equivalent) with no lower than 5.5 in reading writing, listening and speaking
