Student’s learning will focus from the outset on developing their professional skills, management understanding, and academic knowledge in order to prepare them for a successful career in the Tourism Industry. This will include studying in-depth topics relating to Guest Service Excellence, Marketing and Social Media, Ethics and Sustainability, Heritage and Attraction Management.

The students benefit from a close relationship with alumni, many of whom have highly successful careers in the industry & regularly return to network & share their experiences with current students. This is supported by close industry links including the opportunity to regularly undertake field study trips, behind the scenes industry visits and networking opportunities within the tourism industry in Wales and internationally.

Typically a minimum of two A-Levels and/ or other Level 3 qualifications or equivalent. There may be some specific course requirements to be taken into account.

Academic Qualifications

An overall average of 70% or above in Indian Standard XII
English Qualifications

An overall English Language level equivalent to an IELTS score of 6.0 (or equivalent) with no lower than 5.5 in reading writing, listening and speaking

Indian Standard XII - 70% or above in English Language component, awarded within two years of applying to the University.
