Master’s Programme in Civil & Criminal Defense Lawyer
The programme trains future forensic lawyers in both civil and criminal law. As part of the civil law track, the curriculum focuses mainly on judicial representation in courts of general jurisdiction, examining disputes that are dealt with by these courts. Students who embark on the criminal legal track are trained as defense lawyers in various categories of criminal law, with an emphasis on economic crimes. The programme draws on the strong ties between HSE’s Faculty of Law and leading law firms and law offices in Moscow.
