Our Acton campus is in the heart of Canberra - Australia's capital city - in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). From here it's an easy walk, bike ride or drive to some of Australia's most significant political and cultural institutions including Australian Parliament House. Amongst our modern lecture halls, libraries, laboratories, student residences and administration buildings, you'll find all the conveniences of a small suburb including cafes, bars, supermarkets, child care centres, a newsagency, post office and even a medical centre.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
- To be admitted to the Master of Philosophy program you will be required to have completed at least a three-year Australian undergraduate degree or equivalent with a result of at least H2A.
- You may be granted admission if you can demonstrate that you have research experience equivalent to these qualifications, for example, through postgraduate study and including competence in a relevant language, cultural knowledge and work experience in Asia or the Pacific.
- All applicants must meet the University’s English Language Admission Requirements for Students.
