LEVEL 3 FOUNDATION DIPLOMA SPORT (FITNESS)

If you’re looking for a career in the fitness industry or hoping to progress onto a higher education sports degree, then this course provides an excellent foundation for your development towards your goals.

You will learn through a mix of theory based and practical sessions and study 7 modules over the course of the year. This will give you a solid grounding in all aspects of fitness, instructing and sports science.

You’ll also complete an industry recognised YMCA Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing, meaning you will be a qualified fitness instructor on completion of the course.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Indian Certificate of Secondary Education is considered comparable to GCSE (grades A*-C / 9-4), for every subject passed, where grades of 1-6 (40-100%) have been obtained.

Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Standard 12 is considered comparable to the overall AS Level standard.
Diploma (from a State Board of Technical Education) is considered comparable to BTEC Level 3 Diploma, when studied for three years.

Our minimum overall IELTS scores are listed below, and are in line with UKVI standard. The Common
European Framework for languages (CEFR) level is shown in brackets:
