LEVEL 2 DIPLOMA AGRICULTURE

This course is ideal for you if you're looking for a sound introduction to agriculture and its allied industries. The course will provide you with a good balance of machinery, crop and livestock husbandry, as well as estate skills.

There will be plenty of opportunity to gain practical experience on the college’s own Home Farm, enabling you to immediately put into practice what you have learnt in the classroom. The course will also give you the confidence and motivation to develop yourself and your career prospects by undertaking more study.

Industry experience

During your course you will complete work experience, one day per week during the year, providing you with the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the industry. You will arrange your own work placement within an agricultural-related industrial organisation with the guidance of the agricultural academic staff.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Indian Certificate of Secondary Education is considered comparable to GCSE (grades A*-C / 9-4), for every subject passed, where grades of 1-6 (40-100%) have been obtained.

Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Standard 12 is considered comparable to the overall AS Level standard.
Diploma (from a State Board of Technical Education) is considered comparable to BTEC Level 3 Diploma, when studied for three years.

Our minimum overall IELTS scores are listed below, and are in line with UKVI standard. The Common
European Framework for languages (CEFR) level is shown in brackets:
