MA History
This programme will enable you to promote a public understanding of the past in today’s social, political and cultural life. It combines the intellectual strengths of History with modern, practical and transferable skills.
Explore themes in regional history which can be applied to any region and across a range of different periods.
North East Wales is currently under-represented in the historical record, and this course presents students with a unique opportunity to highlight the cultural heritage of the region and the particular issues surrounding ‘border’ identity.
This programme has been designed in collaboration with partners and links in the heritage sector, such as: Wrexham Museum, NE Wales Heritage Forum, Denbighshire Archives, Flintshire Archives, Palmer Centre, Gladstone Library, National Trust, Llangollen Museum and others.
