In this course, you will learn to assess a person’s unique issues to offer better, more tailored recovery solutions based on a wholistic and comprehensive look at an individual’s physical, psychosocial and environmental needs.
Successful completion of this course will give you a deeper understanding and appreciation of health issues in Australia, and the skills to help individuals, groups, and communities engage in the occupations they need to, want to or are expected to do.
This course also prepares you for further study opportunities and the chance to gain the additional skills to move into senior, more researched based positions.

PSW Opportunity
Post Study Work Steam Renames to Post Higher Education Work Steam.
- Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
- Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
- Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
- The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants
Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:
- Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
- Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years
- Masters by coursework in extended researched (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 3 years
- PhD students can stay upto 4 years
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
For international students studying an Australian Year 12 qualification, your selection rank is your ATAR plus any adjustment factors you may be eligible for.
If you’re an international student who has not completed an Australian Year 12, we also recognise a range of other international qualifications for direct entry. These include the NCEA Level 3, the International Baccalaureate (IB) and GCE A Levels, plus other country-specific qualifications.

UC College admissions requirements
There are some entry requirements that students need to meet in order to be accepted into UC College. Requirements are different for international students and Australian or New Zealand students.
There are non-standard English language requirements for admission to this course that must be met by all candidates. To be eligible candidates must demonstrate English language proficiency via one of the following:
A) English Language Assessment Test results from one of the following English proficiency tests: Overall academic IELTS score of 7.0 with no band score below 7.0, or an OET grade of B including any of the sub-tests, or TOEFL iBT with an overall score of 94 & minimum scores of 24 in Listening, 24 in Reading, 27 in Writing and 23 in Speaking, or PTE Academic score of 65 overall with no skill score below 65.
B) Primary Language Pathway having undertaken six years of primary & secondary education taught & assessed in English, including at least two years between years 7 & 12 from one of the following recognised countries: Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Republic of Ireland, South Africa, United Kingdom, & the USA.
