In this course you'll get the support, encouragement, and advice on how to critically appraise research content; and then challenged to choose a thesis related to your undergraduate degree. In doing so, you will develop in-depth analytical skills, learn how to manage projects, improve both your scientific and media presentation skills and eventually present an academic document for peer review. You will also get the opportunity to engage and network with a variety of professional experts and stakeholders from local and national industries. Post Study Work Steam Renames to Post Higher Education Work Steam.
- Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
- Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
- Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
- The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants
Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:
- Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
- Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years
- Masters by coursework in extended researched (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 3 years
- PhD students can stay upto 4 years
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
- Must provide certified evidence of your current English proficiency level including: English tests; transcripts and award certificates; and/or a letter from the institution stating the language of instruction.
- Must provide certified evidence of academic transcripts and award certificates. Transcripts should indicate if the academic requirements of the course are incomplete /complete or if the award has been conferred.
- Provide Statements of Employment and a Resume with referee contact details for courses with work experience requirements.
- Subject descriptions must be provided for International Qualifications and may be requested for Domestic Qualifications if required. Not providing this documentation with your application could delay the outcome- Credit transfer/ advanced standing.
- Other qualifications not listed will be considered on an individual basis. This list provides minimum entry requirements for courses; however, some courses may have higher entry requirements. If you are unable to meet the above requirements, you may be eligible to access a pathway provided by college.
