Physical Education BSc (Hons)
The course has a clear focus – we want you to think beyond the traditional physical education (PE) curriculum and to become agents of change in the environments you go on to work in. While traditional activities are integral to the PE curriculum, they don’t suit everyone, so we have scope for more inclusive, innovative and challenging activities to be considered within the school environment.
We’ll help you develop knowledge and understanding in a range of activities, both traditional and non-traditional. We want to develop your interest in both primary and secondary PE to allow you to become a teacher, leader and educator for the future – who inspires young people to participate in PE, physical activity and sport. Throughout the course, you’ll gain an in-depth understanding of a broad and varied range of topics based in theory and practice.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
To study an Honours undergraduate degree, you should also have at least 2 A levels (or equivalent) or at least 1 foundation degree – as well as grade 4/C in English GCSE, and for some courses, Grade 4/C or above in GCSE Maths and/or Science.

Successful completion of Higher Secondary Certificate/Indian School Certificate/Standard XII with a minimum of 65% from CISCE and CBSE boards.
