PGCE Secondary Physics with QTS (11-16)
If you are applying to start on our September 2021 programme which starts on Tuesday 31st August 2021, the deadline for applications is 9am on Friday 13th August 2021. To allow your application time to reach us from UCAS Teacher Training before the deadline, we recommend that you complete your UCAS Teacher Training application (including complete references) no later than Wednesday 11th August 2021.
Do you want to help children make sense of the world around them and inspire scientists of the future? You can by teaching physics in secondary schools and helping students see how physics plays a crucial role in everyday life.
And, there’s never been a better time to train as talented physics teachers are in high demand.
On our PGCE Secondary Education in Physics course you’ll learn about the National Curriculum framework in science through to individual lesson plans and our expert tutors will support you to plan, resource and deliver lessons to pupils of all secondary ages and abilities.
The course has QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) built in and students will apply for a position as a secondary school teacher during the course of their studies and teaching practice.
