PSW Opportunity
- The International Students studying in certain institutions in Singapore are allowed to work part time for 16 hours per week as mentioned on the Ministry of Manpower website of Singapore.
- Students who have studied in the institutions mentioned on the Ministry of Manpower website of Singapore are allowed to apply for a Long Term Visitor Pass.
- They are allowed to look for a job during this time period.This is for 12 months.If the students get a job during this time period, the employer may sponsor for an Employment pass.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Academic Requirement:
Completion of GSTM Specialist Diploma in Event Management or GSTM Specialist Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management or GSTM Specialist Diploma in Business Management or equivalent; OR
Polytechnic Diploma in a relevant field (e.g. Diploma in Accounting/ Business/ Management/ Hospitality/ Tourism Management/ Event Management); OR
Other PEI qualification (e.g. LCCI Diploma Level 4/ Diploma in Accounting/ Business/ Management/ Hospitality/ Tourism Management/Event Management that is equivalent to GSTM’s Specialist Diploma) will be assessed on a case by case basis; OR
Matured student: At least 30 years old with at least 8 years of relevant working experiences will be considered.
English Language Requirement:
*A pass in English at GCE ‘O’ Level’ or IELTS 5.5 and or equivalent; OR
Completed a prior Diploma or equivalent where the medium of instruction is English
