MA EDUCATION: LEARNING, PEDAGOGY AND ASSESSMENT

Study the way people learn, the importance of the interactions between teaching and learning, and how we can assess a person’s educational progress. 

This full-time Master’s course is ideally suited to anyone with some experience in education, who wants to delve deeper into the processes, theories and practices at play in this fascinating field. Placing equal emphasis on theory and practice, it builds on your existing knowledge, interests and expertise, and help you apply the theoretical constructs to practice. 

This course will give you an in-depth understanding of key educational issues, debates, trends and policies, both nationally and internationally. It will develop your knowledge of educational research, and help you in conducting your own research project.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Holders of an Indian Bachelor degree with at least 52% will be considered for postgraduate study. The requirement will vary depending on examination board and course applied for. 
Holders of Indian Master’s degree study will be considered for postgraduate research MPhil/PhD studies. In exceptional cases some science applicants may be admitted from bachelors level 
All applicants to the University of East Anglia must be able to demonstrate an acceptable level of English language before they can be admitted onto any course or programme.

IELTS* 6.0 overall with minimum of 5.5 in only two components and 6.0 in the others
 
Those not meeting the above English language requirements are encouraged to consider and English Language programme at INTO UEA in preparation for our degree courses.
 
If a student obtains 70% or above for their English language Standard 12 level, awarded by one of the following boards within 10 years of their UEA course commencement, they will be considered for exemption for our English language requirements: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE); Council of Indian School Certificate examination (CISCE); Indian School Certificate (ISC); Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE); West Bengal; Karnataka; Maharashtra; Andhra Pradesh; Kerala; Goa; Delhi.
