Bachelor’s Programme in Fundamental and Applied Linguistics
This programme trains specialists in the development of computer programmes, electronic dictionaries, and automatic translation and search systems as well as in working with networks, databases and all types of modern software. There are two tracks: theoretical Russian studies (focusing on research into the Russian language) and computer linguistics (focusing on computer-related developments in the field of linguistics). Graduates will be able to find work in companies using linguistic technologies (Yandex, Abbbyy, Mail.ru and Facebook), as well as in IT firms.
