Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

An applicant must hold one of the following qualifications:

(a) a Juris Doctor, a Bachelor of Laws with Honours or an equivalent qualification;

(b) a Bachelor of Laws without Honours and has normally achieved a Grade Point Average of 5.0, or has been admitted to legal practice, or with minimum two years of full-time relevant professional experience; or

(c) a Bachelor degree in any discipline plus a Graduate Certificate in Legal Studies or an equivalent qualification.

To qualify as a Bachelor of Laws with Honours for the purpose of admission, the course must generally be a minimum of four years duration and include a semester length research component.
