The School Direct Training Programme is school-led initial teacher training. School Direct is available in primary and secondary schools across England and offers a training route to achieving qualified teacher status (QTS). Through our partnerships, there are training places available in a range of areas.

Bachelor or Arts/Science/Commerce OR a Professional Bachelor degree
50% or above, a GPA of 6 or above on a 10 point scale, or a GPA of 4 or above on a 7 point scale
IELTS
A minimum requirement of IELTS level 6.5 with a minimum of 6 in all four components.
Trinity ISE (can only be taken in the UK)
ISE III with
pass in all four components
LanguageCert
Overall B2 with 39/50 in each component
Pearson PTE Academic
Overall score of 58
with no less than 50 in any of the communicative skills
