Upon successful completion, students will have the skills and knowledge to:

• Demonstrate a sound knowledge and critical understanding of research design and methods
• Apply that knowledge to the development of a research proposal and research plan
• Develop the capacity to perform high-level independent research
• Exhibit in-depth knowledge of their chosen research topic
• Demonstrate a high level of ability to critically analyse and evaluate research questions and communicate the results.

• The International Students studying in ANU, Canberra gets PSW of 3 years after completion of UG Programs.

Applicants who complete a recognized secondary/senior secondary/post-secondary/tertiary sequence of study will be assessed on the basis of an equivalent selection rank that is calculated upon application. A list of commonly observed international qualifications and corresponding admission requirements can be found here. As Australia's national university, ANU is a global representative of Australian research and education. ANU endeavors to recruit and maintain a diverse and deliberate student cohort representative not only of Australia but the world. In order to achieve these outcomes, a competitive ranking of applicants may be adjusted to ensure access to ANU is a reality for brilliant students from countries across the globe. If required, the competitive ranking may further be confirmed on the basis of demonstrating higher-level English language proficiency.

A score of 70% or more with no section less than 65%

Academic IELTS An overall score of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component of the test.

TOEFL paper based test A score of 570 with a TWE* score of 4.5.

TOEFL internet based test An overall score of 80, with a minimum of 20 in Reading and Writing and 18 in Speaking and Listening.

Cambridge CAE Advanced (Post 2015) An overall score of 176 with a minimum of 169 in all sub-skills.

PTE Academic An overall score of 64 with a minimum score of 55 in each of the communicative skills.

A Bachelor of Applied Data Analytics from ANU, or equivalent from another institution, completed within the last two years and the satisfaction of any requirements specified in the relevant honours specialisation.

The number of places available in the program may be limited by the Dean due to supervisory capacity.
