Job Opportunity Potential

Applications and selection are continuous, and are processed as they arrive. Don't miss out on your preferred course by applying late. Depending on the number of participants, there may be a waiting list. Applications received less than one week before a course may not be accepted.

Candidates are selected by means of an application form, a pre-interview task and/or an interview in person (or by phone/Skype for applicants outside of Christchurch)

Please note, all successful applicants will be police vetted (this is a legal requirement for anyone who may have contact with students under the age of 18).

Successful applicants will be expected to complete the Cambridge pre-course task (in a number of sittings) before the start of their course.

Assessment
To meet the assessment requirements candidates are required to attend the course and teach for six hours on practice classes, observe experienced teachers teaching adult learners for a total of six hours, and maintain and submit a portfolio of all course work including assignments, lesson plans and feedback.

The assessment is continuous and integrated. The course is internally assessed and externally moderated by an external assessor appointed by Cambridge.
