Anthropology and French at Aberdeen is a great study combination, adding to your existing grounding in what it means to ‘be human’. With an in-depth study of a major modern European language and culture and a period of study abroad, you will develop your language and cultural familiarity skills. You will also spend the whole of your third year of your five-year degree programme as a Language Assistant or visiting student in a French-speaking country, taking your language ability and cultural familiarity to a very high level.

Arts: At Standard XII a minimum percentage of 75% overall. Additionally, a minimum percentage of 80% in English at Standard XII or our normal English language requirements. The University of Aberdeen will also accept successful completion of the first year of a University degree programme as qualifying for first-year entry.
Science: At Standard XII a minimum percentage of 75% overall, including 75% or more in two science subjects, or Mathematics and a science subject. A minimum grade of 75% is required where the prospectus specifies good performance in a particular subject.
