M. Tech.(Electrical Power System)

The academic program for M.Tech Power and Energy Systems is designed with an eye to developing industry-ready professionals. The two-year course offers an overview of various facets of the power and energy systems.
The course for the postgraduate program helps in grasping of the subjects of generation, transmission and distribution of energy. The study and the understanding of the topics are done on analytical, numerical and practical aspects.
Along with this, the students are also trained in the fields of power system planning and reliability, advanced power system dynamics and electromagnetic field computation and modelling.

Scope of M.TechPower and Energy Systems Scope

The scope after the completion of the two-year program for students is mentioned below:

• After the completion of the course, you will be well-equipped for analysis, the design of energy efficient equipment and systems, which allow you to work as Assistant Engineers, Site Engineers, or other posts as officers in a government or a private company.
• After the completion of the course as per the specified criteria of the University, you can also take up research projects and register your patents after a discovery or innovation.
• You will receive training to analyze and improve conventional energy systems and design the same for companies which will allow you to seek employment in the Electrical goods production department, Telecommunication sector, etc. for the government as well as private companies.
