New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Advanced Support) (Level 4)

Are you looking to develop your qualifications further in health and wellbeing?

This programme will give you the additional skills and knowledge to provide and implement advanced and personalised support to people with complex needs.

As you build your knowledge you will develop the expertise you need to take on higher leadership roles within your workplace. If you have completed the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 3) or work in the health and wellbeing industry, this qualification could be for you.

Advance your health care career and become a senior caregiver, senior health care assistant or senior support worker in acute care, hospices or specialised dementia units, aged residential care or home and community support settings.

You will complete a minimum of 200 hours of work experience on a placement arranged and managed by your clinical placement coordinator.

Job Opportunity Potential

Graduates of this qualification may be employed as a health care assistant, senior caregiver, senior health care assistant

or
senior support worker in acute care, hospices or specialised dementia units, aged residential care or home and community support settings.

PSW Opportunity

During study, all students on a student visa can work up to 20 hours per week during semester and full time during vacations.
After completing Level 7 Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Qualification, a student will get a three years open post-study work visa.
After completing Level 8 Post Graduate courses of 1 year, students get 1 year PSW.

Diploma Level Programmes

All India Senior School Certificate (10+2) or equivalent with
passes of 55% in 4 academic subjects

Degree Level Programmes

All India Senior School Certificate (10+2) or equivalent with
with passes of 70% in 4 academic subjects

Entry Requirements – English

Certificate Programmes
Most certificate programmes require applicants to have completed Year 12 or equivalent of secondary school. Please contact MIT International for further information.

English Language Equivalents

IELTS (Academic) 6.5; no one score below 6.0: TOEFL 575 (230), TWE 4.5. MIT ELP 6.5.
IELTS (Academic) 6.0; no one score below 5.5: TOEFL 550 (213), TWE 4.0. MIT ELP 6.0.
IELTS (Academic) 5.5: TOEFL 525 (190).

MIT English Language Requirements
