The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is the world’s most popular exam for measuring proficiency in the English language.

The IELTS test measures English proficiency in the following areas:

Listening  |  Reading  |  Writing  |  Speaking

It is the most globally accepted exam for certifying proficiency in the English language for non-native speakers of English. There are two types of IELTS certification:

IELTS Academic is for non-native speakers of the English language interested in pursuing higher studies at a college or a university in an English-speaking country or at any university across the world, including in the UAE, where the medium of instruction is in English.

IELTS General is for non-native speakers of the English language interested in migrating to countries such as the United Kingdom, Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand, etc. for work or residence purposes.

Additionally, the new IELTS Indicator allows students to take the test from home, in order to obtain an IELTS result during the Covid-19 situation.
