Full-Time Positions (Non-Academic & Academic)

Academic Positions (Part-Time)
Associate Lecturer(s) will be appointed on part-time basis to cater to short-term teaching requirements. After the recruitment process has concluded, the official appointment will take place three (3) to six (6) months prior to the commencement of classes or it will be subject to the availability of teaching classes.

Applicants must possess a recognised University degree. Any other relevant professional qualifications, industry experience and pedagogical training would be advantageous.

PSW Opportunity

  • The International Students studying in certain institutions in Singapore are allowed to work part time for 16 hours per week as mentioned on the Ministry of Manpower website of Singapore.
  • Students who have studied in the institutions mentioned on the Ministry of Manpower website of Singapore are allowed to apply for a Long Term Visitor Pass.
  • They are allowed to look for a job during this time period.This is for 12 months.If the students get a job during this time period, the employer may sponsor for an Employment pass.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Entry Requirements

All applicants must be of age 18 and above and possess one of the following requirements:

Diploma in Tourism/Hospitality/Events Management related from local polytechnics

OR

Higher National Diploma (HND) in Tourism/Hospitality and Events Management-related disciplines

OR

Other PEI's qualifications in Tourism/Hospitality/Events Management related (equivalent to 1st & 2nd year EDP) with entry requirement of 12 years of formal education.

English Language Requirements

If English is not the first language, applicants are required to meet one of the following requirements:

Possess a minimum C6 grade in English at GCE 'O' Level

OR

IELTS score of 6.0 (with no element below 5.5)

OR

MDIS Professional Certificate in English (PCIE)

OR

Pearson PTE 56 (no element lower than 51)

OR

Cambridge English Test Advanced - 169 (no element below 162)

OR

Pass the MDIS English Placement Test

OR

Letter from College/University clearly stating the Medium of Instruction of the highest qualification to be English

OR

Equivalent
