International students
According to the Immigration and Checkpoint Authority (ICA) and the Ministry of Manpower, international students on Student’s Pass are not permitted to work during the school term or vacation.

PSW Opportunity

  • The International Students studying in certain institutions in Singapore are allowed to work part time for 16 hours per week as mentioned on the Ministry of Manpower website of Singapore.
  • Students who have studied in the institutions mentioned on the Ministry of Manpower website of Singapore are allowed to apply for a Long Term Visitor Pass.
  • They are allowed to look for a job during this time period.This is for 12 months.If the students get a job during this time period, the employer may sponsor for an Employment pass.

India

Successful completion of the Indian School Certificate (ISC) awarded by Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) OR all India Senior School Certificate awarded by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) with a grade average of 60% in the best 4 subjects OR Higher Secondary School Certificate (Standard Year 12 Qualification) awarded by one of the recognized Higher Secondary Education Boards in India with a grade average of 65% in the best 5 subjects.
