The Digital Art & Design - Graphic Design, M.F.A. is one of the most competitive and highly-regarded programs in the field, offering you the opportunity to develop strong conceptual, aesthetic, and innovative visual projects.
You’ll work in our advanced visualization facility using the latest industry-standard software and hardware, including 3-D printing/rapid prototyping, laser cutters, and immersive environments such as Oculus Rift. You’ll learn from accomplished, full-time faculty who are successful visual artists and creative multimedia designers with experience ranging from fine and digital arts to emerging technology such as virtual, augmented, and mixed reality.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
- ?B.F.A. degree or its equivalent from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0.
- If your GPA is below the requirement, you may be asked to take the GRE and submit your score.
The supplementary application includes:
- Digital portfolio that showcases your best work through a wide range of media. Portfolio should contain 15-20 high-quality digital images and/or a sample reel of animation/video (max. three minutes).
- Description sheet of the contents of the portfolio detailing each work with a title, brief description, measurements or duration, and date of completion. Collaborative work must be individually identified and credited as such.
- Curriculum Vitae/résumé which should include a summary of academic and professional history and achievements, including research, awards, and exhibitions.
