It helps us understand and tackle difficult questions, such as issues of poverty, immigration, privacy and social unrest, as well as providing insights into our cultural and everyday lives.

Sociologists have for decades been providing answers to difficult government and policy questions, informing industry and challenging inequalities.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

GCSE

GCSE English language/literature and mathematics at grade C/grade 4 or above. Level 2 equivalencies will also be accepted.

You must fulfil our GCSE entry requirements as well as one of the requirements listed below.

Undergraduate

The following grades are normally required (exam board in brackets): 50% (West Bengal), 55% (ISC, awarded by CISCE), 60% (CBSE), 65% (all other state boards) for undergraduate study.
