MSc Artificial Intelligence (Online)
The award builds on the extensive experience and long-established reputation of our Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, in research areas such as AI, AI programming, and machine learning. Artificial Intelligence has been taken to a new level by the current developments in the industry, implementing it in almost all sectors, such as vehicle engineering, medicine, finance, services, big data analytics, and cybersecurity. The MSc Artificial Intelligence (Online) embeds these developments through subjects, aiming at developing the most current and required skills in the industry.

College Lane Campus
The main site of the university remains the College Lane campus, which houses the original Hatfield Technical College building. Notable among the buildings in this campus is the university's Learning Resource Centre, a combined library and computer centre. There is also a substantial collection of halls of residence and student houses, and the University of Hertfordshire Students' Union is headquartered at College Lane campus. The College Lane campus is also the location of Hertfordshire International College, which is part of the Navitas group, providing a direct pathway for international students to the University.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Entry requirements
For admission to the MSc Artificial Intelligence (Online):
- A recent good Honours Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or cognate discipline;
- Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate sufficient competence in English to benefit from the Programme. This is normally demonstrated by recognised awards equivalent to an overall IELTS score of 6.0 Candidates who do not satisfy these requirements will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Access to computer equipment with the following minimum specification.
Postgraduate taught
- Completion of a Bachelor degree in a relevant subject area with 55-65% or above depending on course
- IELTS 6.0 or 6.5 (depends on course) with no less than 5.5 in any band - some courses require higher
- Standard XII English with 70% will also be accepted
