Bachelor of Commerce

A Bachelor of Commerce degree from The University of Notre Dame Australia is aimed at ambitious undergraduates who want to gain a wider understanding of today’s business environment. You will be taught by industry leaders with strong commercial and industry experience. This program will equip you with the practical experience and analytical skills for a successful business career.

Why study this degree?

If you’re considering a career in business, accounting, banking, information systems, or
management, then a Bachelor of Commerce is the ideal choice for you. With our small class sizes
and approachable teachers, as well as client-based projects and regular guest speakers, your degree
is an exciting combination of practical and theoretical elements.

Naturally, you can choose from a wide range of possible Majors, such as Accounting, Advertising,
Economics, Finance or Public Relations. Alternatively, you can enrol for a double Major – this
pathway allows you to combine two of your preferred subjects into a single degree program. For
those who are interested in studying Arts, Law or Communications, Notre Dame also offers a double degree option – this is normally completed over four years.

As part of your degree, you will be required to undertake 150 hours of placement in a working
environment. In a large number of cases, this internship placement leads to an offer of full-time
work upon graduation. Our Business Internship program also includes seminars on career planning
and professional development, as well as presentations by speakers from high-profile companies.
