New technologies are completely transforming the World we live in. In this course, you will learn Machine Intelligence, Intelligent Machines development, Mechatronics systems, Intelligent Machines, Advanced Topics in Industry 4.0, Renewable Energy Technology, Condition Monitoring systems, and Structural Health Monitoring systems.
You will work alongside our research active staff with the possibility of continuing on to PhD research,
Students will have the opportunity to work closely in industrial, research, and EU projects.

PSW Opportunity
- 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
- 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
55% in bachelor degree
70% in Year 12 English*
Or
70% average grade in Year 11 and Year 12 English provided Year 12 is not below 65%

Standard English language entry requirements – IELTS 6.5 or equivalent
GCSE or O-Level English Grade C - Grade C
A Level English Language - Grade C
TOEFL iBT including Special At Home Edition - 88 (with minimum grades of 21 in each component)
UCLan Test of English Language Level (TELL) - Merit (75%) with no component below pass (65%)
Pearson Test of EnglishAcademic - 61 with minimum of 55 in each component
MSc - Entry can be made to the course through holding at least a lower second class award of BEng (Hons) or BSc (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or other related subjects.
Applications from individuals with non-standard qualifications or relevant work / life experience who can demonstrate the ability to cope with and benefit from Master-level studies are welcome.
Access qualifications should normally be in a Mechanical Engineering subject or a related area.
Students whose first language is not English will be required to demonstrate competence in the language. The normal minimum standard required is IELTS 6.5 or equivalent
