The series of specialist modules in this degree program has been designed to include the knowledge and skills required in the energy engineering sector. Students will have the ability to work in areas of production, utilization, storage, and management of energy; areas of design, research and development, environment control, and policymaking. Graduate careers exist in the conventional and renewable energy sectors and automotive industries, government, and environment agencies.

2 Years PSW is applicable after the course.(Bachelors & Masters only)

Entry criteria

You should have the equivalent of a British Honours degree (2:1 minimum) in a relevant subject.

We are happy to consider equivalent qualifications from anywhere in the world.

If you have no formal academic qualifications but do have extensive industry experience we will consider your application on an individual basis.

India

• A Bachelor's degree with 50%-60%, depending on the university you have studied and the course you are applying for.

Some courses have additional entry criteria such as a portfolio, work experience or require you to have a degree in a related field.

Sri Lanka

• A Bachelor’s degree with GPA 3.0 (out of 4.0) for courses requiring a  2:2 classification, and GPA 3.3 (out of 4.0) for courses requiring a 2:1 classification.

Bangladesh

• 4 year Bachelor degree from BUET with a minimum of 55% or GPA 2.75/4.0 OR 4 year Bachelor degree from a well recognized university with a minimum of 60% or GPA 3.0/4.0
