Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Entry criteria

  • Normally a minimum of a 2:1 or first class Honours degree (or equivalent)
  • Relevant experience may be needed for some projects You will be required to prepare a research proposal, approximately three pages long that sets out your research aims context and intended methods
  • You will then be interviewed by two members of staff and, if successful in your application, be assigned two supervisors

India

  • A Bachelor's degree with 50%-60%, depending on the university you have studied and the course you are applying for.

Some courses have additional entry criteria such as a portfolio, work experience or require you to have a degree in a related field.

Sri Lanka

  • A Bachelor’s degree with GPA 3.0 (out of 4.0) for courses requiring a  2:2 classification, and GPA 3.3 (out of 4.0) for courses requiring a 2:1 classification.

Bangladesh

  • 4 year Bachelor degree from BUET with a minimum of 55% or GPA 2.75/4.0 OR 4 year Bachelor degree from a well-recognized university with a minimum of 60% or GPA 3.0/4.0
