Master of Clinical Rehabilitation (2 years)

The postgraduate clinical rehabilitation program provides opportunities for health professionals from any allied health, medical, or nursing field to enhance their knowledge, skills, and attitudes in clinical rehabilitation. Masters can be undertaken by coursework or research.

What you will study

The program exposes you to the principles and practice of clinical rehabilitation and provides the opportunity of studying in an area relevant to your field of clinical practice. The coursework masters provide training in research methods and enables you to develop either research expertise or advanced practice skills in clinical rehabilitation and apply this to a specific project. The research masters enable you to gain an understanding of the principles and practice of clinical rehabilitation, receive training in research methods, and undertake a significant research project in the form of a thesis.

PSW Opportunity

International students studying at Flinders University will be eligible to access an additional year in Australia on a post-study work visa, which means Masters graduate can get up to 3 years of PSW visa. 

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Applicants who do not hold the Graduate Certificate in Clinical Rehabilitation or the Graduate Diploma in Clinical Rehabilitation must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution and have not less than two years of work experience in a relevant clinical area.
