If you are an IT professional or graduates wanting to develop both technical and management skills specifically related to technology, the Master of Information Technology/Master of Information Technology Management combined degree will improve your understanding of the latest advancements in IT and how to use them to drive organisational transformation.
The degree's accelerated two-year structure gives you the opportunity to undertake specialist study in a range of IT-related disciplines along with a program in IT management. Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission, an applicant is required to have:
an Australian bachelor's degree in information technology or information systems with a credit average (65 percent), or equivalent qualification or
an Australian Bachelor of Engineering degree with a credit average (65 percent) and a major sequence of study in computer engineering, software engineering, or equivalent qualification or
an Australian bachelor's degree in an unrelated discipline with a credit average (65 percent) and two year's professional work experience in the information technology industry, or equivalent qualifications or
a University of Sydney Graduate Diploma in Information Technology Management or Graduate Diploma in Computing, with a credit average (65 percent). Units completed in the graduate diploma/ graduate certificate can be credited to the master's degree.
For qualifications awarded outside Australia, equivalencies and entry requirements are determined based on the country, institution and qualification. Students currently studying who are exiting the degree after 1 semester or completion of 24 credit points are may be eligible for a Graduate Certificate in Information Technology and Information Technology Management.
TOEFL - IBT score - A minimum result of 85 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
IELTS score - A minimum result of 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band
TOEFL - PBT score - A minimum result of 565 overall including a minimum result of 4.5 in Writing
Pearsons Test of English - A minimum result of 61 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
