Course opportunities
If you are not ready to commit to undertaking the Master of International Law but have an interest in studying our coursework units, you can start with a Graduate Diploma in International Law (GradDipIntLaw), which consists of four units of study. On successful completion, you may apply for transfer to the master’s degree, which requires a further four units of study.

Career Pathways
The Graduate Diploma in International Law (GradDipIL) is designed for lawyers or non-lawyers who wish to upgrade their qualification(s) for the purposes of career advancement or professional and academic interest.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Available places will be offered to qualified applicants based on merit, according to the following admissions criteria. Admission to candidature for the Graduate Diploma in International Law requires a bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney; or an equivalent qualification.

TOEFL - IBT score - A minimum result of 96 overall including a minimum result of 23 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 25 in Writing

IELTS score - A minimum result of 7.0 overall and a minimum result of 7.0 in each band

TOEFL - PBT score - A minimum result of 592 overall including a minimum result of 4.5 in Writing

Pearsons Test of English - A minimum result of 68 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
