Computing has applications in numerous technical areas within and beyond the domain of information technology. Core IT knowledge relates to areas such as programming, databases and systems analysis.

This specialisation emphasises the concepts, insights and skills you’ll need to analyse, design, create and evaluate contemporary and emerging information technologies. You’ll develop skills to be able to build complex programmed systems. You’ll apply theoretical and technical knowledge and skills to focused, in-depth problem solving in a selection of IT areas. Throughout your study, you’ll have opportunities to work as a productive team member on IT projects and to practice making presentations, ensuring you’re ready for a rewarding role in the career area of your choice.
