Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Knitwear Design

Bachelor of Fine Arts students will more fully develop their personal aesthetic and greater skills in knitwear technology. They will be able to produce garments of increasing complexity and analyze the fit (three-dimensionally) of different silhouettes and knit structures. Students will develop a critical eye and a strong aesthetic. The program culminates in students completing both a portfolio and a knitwear collection. They will have opportunities to participate in exchange programs in Paris or New Zealand. They will be able to collaborate with fashion students in other areas in their final collection.
