Our faculty is encouraged to continue to further their teaching education through working towards completion of our In Class or Online Instructor Development Course. Nursing Faculty are required to participate in, and work towards completion of the National Association of Career College’s Instructor Development Program – Level I & II

Psw same as course duration For all courses above 8 months (Lets say course duration is 2 yrs psw is 2yrs so total 4 yrs of visa)

• ?Completion of Grade 12 graduation or equivalent, or mature student status*
• Passing Stenberg College’s Admission entrance examination or equivalent*
• Successful completion of a short written essay
• Passing Verbal Test of English if ESL or equivalent*
• Completion of Stenberg College entrance informational interview
• Acceptable Criminal Record Review with Vulnerable Sector Check by the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General* 

Entrance requirements can be met with evidence of alternate assessments such as Challenge Exams, or acceptable standardized English equivalency tests as per the Stenberg College Language Proficiency chart. Evidence of Post-Secondary studies at an equivalent level where English was the first language is acceptable.

Program Advisors will work with students to obtain the following:

• Proof of 50 hours of volunteer work/paid work experience with children aged 3-5 or have parented a child aged 3-5. This requirement can be met whilst parenting own children.
• Reference letter stating suitability to work with children.

NB: Additional criteria may be required to fulfill industry guidelines; students will be informed in advance

Language Proficiency Requirements: Overall IELTS Test score* of 6.0 with no component less than 6.0 for Speaking and Listening, 5.5 for Reading and Writing (or other ESL equivalencies as determined by Stenberg). *Must be within the last 2 years.
