The combination of both Law and Business allows for a greater depth of knowledge and the workings of private sector organizations. In studying Business, you will have exercised research and problem-solving skills and demonstrated your ability to analyze and interpret data. The course is also designed to equip you to understand and adapt to global business.

Recent statistics from HESA (Higher Education Statistics Agency) show that law and business graduates succeed in the areas of criminology, financial management, business, human resources, international relations, journalism and education. You will also be suited to jobs including banker, insurance underwriter, management consultants and risk manager.

Top Law firms have been requesting that law graduates have a working knowledge not only of law but how the business world works. This degree allows you to be able to gather, assimilate and interpret a wealth of legal information quickly and accurately, and you will be confident in selecting and deploying the most appropriate of a range of legal methodologies.  The course is delivered over three years and will cover the fundamental pillars of law, including criminal, contract, EU, Tort, Land and Trusts Law as well as Legal Process. You will learn the foundations of law as well as developing key leadership and management skills and how to develop a commercial awareness of how business work.
