Motorsport Engineering (BSc)
Program Available at Swansea Campus
The BSc and HND programs have received exemplary reports throughout, highlighting good practices and quality ratings of student performance. The team excelled in maintaining an excellent staff/student relationship.
When you join our School you will follow a format that dovetails the more analytical and theoretical themes with the practical and applied disciplines. This gives a more holistic way of learning so that you can see how the subjects relate to one another.
You will learn in a range of environments, from traditional lecture theatres and classrooms to workshops, laboratories, and race tracks. The first-year practical learning experience culminates in a 6-week industrial placement with a company of your choice, where you will get to apply all you have learned.
We also offer a range of extracurricular activities, in the form of race or rally teams. This gives you an all-encompassing experience of working within a team, understanding the management, logistics, procurement, competition, maintenance, and manufacturing that all go towards making a successful and competitive car while still experiencing all of the topics associated with a traditional engineering qualification.
