M.A - Foreign regional studies

You will receive training focused on the study of problems at the global, transnational levels - development of technologies for effective travel business management in multicultural environment with a view to preventing intercultural conflicts. You
will be able to manage cultural diversity and differences in business cultures, manage a travel organization and multicultural teams, develop and apply technologies in order to increase the efficiency and prestige of the travel industry in the conditions of economic globalization, etc. The program is designed to promote effective and responsible management and planning of tourism at the scientific (economic, sociological, ethnological and cultural) level. It aims at deep understanding of the international and regional role of tourism in the global context, as well as the expertise of travel
systems and strategies. The program is focused on deep scientific studying of countries of “Eurasian Studies” (Turkey, Greece, Israel, UAE, Iran, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan), and the regions of the South of Russia
(North Caucasus Federal District, Southern Federal District). Detailed study of these regions is necessary in view of the possibility of new tourist clusters development that unite Southern Europe, Middle East, North and South Caucasus, as well as North Africa. These regions have rich recreational resources and proved to be travel business leaders.
